The Invesco Invesco DB US Dollar Index Bullish Fund (UUP) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the performance of the Deutsche Bank Long US Dollar Index (USDX) Futures Index. The fund is managed by Invesco and was launched in 2007.
The Deutsche Bank Long US Dollar Index (USDX) Futures Index measures the performance of a long position in the U.S. dollar against a basket of six major world currencies — the euro, Japanese yen, British pound, Canadian dollar, Swedish krona, and Swiss franc. It is derived from U.S. Dollar Index (USDX) futures traded on the ICE exchange.
